Contract Web Developer Opportunity in Fort Worth, TX
The Web Developer and Technical Lead will help develop new applications and deliver exceptional websites for a variety of national and global brands. This person will be responsible for creating technical solutions based on client specifications, coding for new applications, and delivering high quality web-based products and software. In addition, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing coding standards. Local candidates only need apply; no telecommuting or virtual office, please.
Essential Qualities:
- Creative web enthusiast with great ideas
- Expert in server-side programming tools: PHP, Word Press, C++, asp.net
- Dedication to producing high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client requirements and expectations
- Love of clean navigation and UI’s as well as elegantly-architected methods and classes
- Keen sense of project scope, time, and budget for new jobs
- Ability to multi-task, hit deadlines, and have fun doing it
- Cooperative attitude and flexibility to respond to changing client needs
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of significant experience in web design, web architecture, and the ability to design, code, test, and document applications
- Expert in HTML, DHTML, XML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript , AJAX
- Database skills a plus, including familiarity with application development using MySQL or other SQL variants
- Knowledgeable with asp.net, C#, and C++ is a strong plus
- Strong working knowledge of Cake PHP, jQuery, Git software, Macs
